Remote Solutions

OBD personal programmer

Our remote solutions include the ability to send our Powergate 3+ OBD Personal Programmers to any location to be able to flash files on to the vehicle’s ECU. This is done by preloading files on to the device ready for application through the OBD port on the truck.

This was taken during our recent trip to Albany Sea Rescue to tune 5 of their Isuzu NPS Trucks.

The Isuzu NPS range has incredible tuning potential through parameter changes.

Emission system calibrations combined with Dyno tuning can see some great results for the NPS. 

Off-Road ECU remapping is for vehicles that operate off highway such as mining or agricultural vehicles. These vehicles are not required to meet the same emissions standards as On-Road vehicles.

Dyno Tuning Results

Isuzu NPS Truck Tuning

 When aiming for an economical tune we can see anywhere from 30-55% gains in HP and Torque. All being achieved without coming close to pushing the NPS to its true potential.

The customer that owns this NPS was not looking to push the vehicle to any sort of maximum and was only chasing a freshen up in power.

Isuzu N Series Tuning

On the other hand, this customer came to us for Isuzu NPS Truck Tuning and is now running an incredible +118% power and +89% torque. This custom remap is to maximise the efficiency of the vehicle under heavy load. The customer will see a somewhat improved fuel efficiency, better throttle response and feel a whole lot safer overtaking with the power there if it’s needed.

Emissions System

It is widely known that certain models from the NPS series can be considerably underwhelming when it comes to power. That being said, they are still one of the most popular Medium-Rigid trucks in circulation. They have many advantages such as reliability, low cost servicing and fantastic build quality.

The downfalls come with the reliability of the emission systems such as the DPF, EGR, DEF, SCR, Adblue.

We have the solution to help alleviate the need for unwanted limp modes, rough running and times with higher fuel usage from these systems at fault.

When used in Off-Road applications we can remove these systems to ensure longevity and reliability of the vehicle. Especially in remote locations and ensure no major damage is done when these systems are at fault.
